In my ongoing case of unexplained tinnitus my doctor is now suggesting that when I took Piriton (not cetirizine hydrochloride one, the other one, chlorpheniramine maleate) and had an allergic reaction; hard heartbeat, anxiety, kind of strong self doubt and confusion, red itchy face...
That my tinnitus may have also been triggered by that - there are also a few reports online, of people taking this medicine then reporting ringing in ears that does not go away. It seems a pretty major side effect to risk, for the sake of antihistamine properties, how do the companies get away with this sh*t!?
