      Alright affef,

5 htp seemed to make my t worse much higher.even though other people have had success with it.
ltryphtotan supposed to be good it's in a lot of foods so I guess it's safe.
gaba no experience with that one but heard good things.

Hi Afeef, I tried 5-HTP with no success. In the past I tried L-tryptophan also. That may have a helped a tad. I might be wrong but I don't know if you can get L-tryptophan like at a health food store anymore. Each of our bodies are unique as God made them. Something that didn't work for me may work for you. Trial and error with different things I guess. The only thing is the more things a person tries the more expensive it gets but something might mesh with your system and work. BTW..... I like your TRUST GOD image....... God Bless......... Rich

      Thanks man for the info.

Good to know it helps you @RicoS .
I have also read it helps, it has helped some people to calm them and lower anxiety attacks. Won't hurt if i give it a shot i guess.
You have not tried l-tryptophan am I right?
How much dosage do you take of 5HTP?

Hi again Afeef, I'm going by memory here. I tried the 5-HTP probably 10 years ago. I got it from the local health food store in my town and probably went by the dosage on the bottle. I don't remember it doing anything positive for me. The L-tryptophan I used for a while back in the 80's sometime. It seemed to relax me a little bit then. I don't know if the L-tryptophan is available OTC anymore. You're right, Keep your hope in the Good Lord! Rich

I've had some t on and off for about 10 years. I just used a small t in that sentence. The bigger T started a little over a year ago. It slightly let up some in the middle to late Summer of last year then started climbing again in September. This Winter it has spiked significantly. Rich

Afeef, I would give the 5-HTP a try and see what happens, I don't think it's horribly expensive..... Rich

After 5-HTP my panicattacks stopped , but it can also be just me curing by myself, but I did notice a positive difference when I use it. I take 50mg in the morning and 50mg in the evening

Your case is somewhat similar to me.
Don't know why does it spike without any sound exposure or doing any other stuff that can aggravate it but then it is a symptom of something wrong with our ears but we can not let it controll our lives we just need to hang in there for something good to come out soon to help it GO AWAY FOREVER!!

Hope is that it will be ending soon for us!

If 5htp is there to help calm down then it must be having some effect if not a 100%.

Natural Calm (magnesium citrate) makes me mellow and drowsy. I take it an hour or so before bedtime. Helps with sleep imo.

I noticed a pretty big change in my anxiety since I started magnesium supplements. Since it has helped calm me down, although I still have a spit-fire temper that scares me, the supps have helped. So now I am working on my T with supps, which are the 5htp, and the Taurine, so far. I also have GABA and L-theonine waiting to be picked up, after ordering the NOW brands of those. I am getting some relief from the T, but I don't like taking 5htp during the day. I feel kind of, I don't know, foggy I guess. Can't describe it. I just know I took something, and I don't like anything that makes me feel more weird than I already am :wacky:
