Anyone Who Got Chronic Tinnitus After Ear Drum Injury?

I would like to know if anyone on this forum who previously didn't have tinnitus, but after eardrum injury developed it?

Hi,

I got my tinnitus from eardrum injury. So, when I went to my ENT he saw that there is a perforated ear drum and did my hearing test there was hearing loss. He mentioned cause of my tinnitus is hearing loss. Hearing loss would recover slowly and tinnitus should diminish.

My tinnitus started on Nov 29 2017. I had Tinnitus until 2hrs back. Just 2hrs back it stopped buzzing. In my case doctor is correct. They did 3 hearing tests and my hearing improved in every test and tinnitus became less intense but never stopped buzzing until today.
