      Hi all ,
We were walking out from a restaurant and one loud firecracker went off in the sky. Distance on the ground where firecracker was shot in the sky must have been at least 70-80 feet.

My ears are ringing. My wife said it was not at all loud. Am I just panicking? I clearly have whistle in my ear which normally happens when I am exposed to loud noise.

Very loud music from ear buds
You should be fine, I'm not an expert but what you're experiencing should be temporary. If it hasn't gone away yet stay calm.. panicking only makes things worse. It honestly wasn't your fault that the firecracker went off and you were exposed to it but take it as a sign to be a bit more careful about what you expose your ears to.
