I'm thinking about trying a bottle of vinpocetine to see if any improved blood flow to my head helps.

Has anyone tried vinpocetine or ginko biloba etc... ?

ginkgo did nothing for me. i will be trying vinpocetine. will report back if vinpocetine does do anything for me. but there are report with both working for some. it is always up to individual.

Vinpocetine is often mentioned as a treatment for tinnitus. But be very careful about this so-called "safe" supplement. The listed side effects seem minor, but take them seriously; they can last LONG after discontinuance. This is a powerful supplement that affects many brain functions, and it can have nasty effects on some.

Karl, the main risk you run with a vasodilator treatment is that you will get a systemic effect in order to get the local effect. It may pay to get a blood pressure monitor if you don't already have one if you go down this path. They come cheap from any discount chemist warehouse and the accuracy is pretty good if you use it right. Alternatively just get familiar with your radial pulse. If its weak your BP is probably low, if not, plow on.

With natural supplements, you have to use them for months to get the effect. I heard they had bad withdraw effects as well. It doesn't work with noise induced T either.
