This first publication of its kind (here for ChatGPT-4) is a good opportunity to start a discussion thread about AI effectiveness.

It's a bit different from other AI-related threads on this forum, as it's not about using an AI tool as a personal journal to track your tinnitus. Instead, the goal here is to explore how AI can be used to find information about tinnitus care, and possibly research as well.
 
Hello @Frédéric, according to you, what are the most promising and realistic treatments that might be available soon?
Unfortunately, I agree with the previous answers: no promising treatment is expected in the short term.

The only thing I can imagine appearing sooner is an improved version of Lenire. This device has been on the market for five years now.

We can hope that Neuromod will use customer feedback to develop a device that either works more effectively or functions differently, focusing on reducing tinnitus rather than simply helping users get used to it.

But for now, that remains very hypothetical.
