Just came back from the doctor, and got some bad news that I absolutely must go and have this parathyroid test because of some calcium deficiency, which could lead to heart failure and death. I did not know it was so important, and the doctor never told me. I have put this off now for months because of fears of going to this noisy hospital because of my worst h..But now I gotta do it. Luckily I am feeling better so I should be OK. But new unknown situations always create anxiety.
Today , while waiting for my doctor, some noisy construction work started, so I had to ask them to put me in a quieter room. They always look at you strange. But they did it and everything was OK after.
This is the life for a person with hyperacusis...
