I poked around looking for info before posting this but couldn't find anything, so wondering if anyone knows if benzocaine oral gel is a known spike-inducer? Or, if you've had experience with this yourself.
The active ingredient in the stuff I have is benzocaine 20%. The inactive ingredients are "flavor mint, glycerin, polyethylene glycol 400, polyethylene glycol 4000, saccharin sodium, and sorbitol." Will be a few days before I can talk to my dentist and it's not bad per se, but figured I'd float it here to find out if anyone has used something similar with or without issues. Thanks!
