      Hi,

My ENT prescribed Betamethasone ear drops for ear eczema. In Norway this medicine is called Diprotit, not sure what it’s called abroad.

Do you know if it is safe for tinnitus, ear pain, hyperacusis? Do you have any experience with ear eczema?

He also recommended an ear oil which I bought, and sprayed in my ear. If anything, it burns and itches even more now. My tinnitus is also louder and more persistent than usual.

      Loud music - noise damage
I've also used Betamethasone ear drops for ear eczema.

It had no effect on my tinnitus.

How did it work out for you?

@ajc it did ease it somehow. What really helped me was something called Otinova (In Norway). It contains Burow's solution.

Recently, I found Blephaclean napkins to remove eczema outside the ear

My ENT at the hospital recommended ear oil once a week as well...?
