Butterbur for Allergies — Can It Make Tinnitus Worse?

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Antidepressants / Loud Sound Exposure
      Is butterbur safe to take in terms of tinnitus?

      I was wondering trying this to help with my allergies but not sure if someone has had a bad reaction to it.

      Also, my current med regimen is Zoloft, Valium and Lyrica so I wonder if it would have some kind of interaction.

      The butterbur I bought have feverfew, I am hoping that is safe too.

      Your thoughts and experiences are welcome!

      Noise Induced
      I tried 'now' brand Butterbur. It didn't do anything at all. Recently I've been taking Jarrow Formulas MSM. Taking two 1,000 mg pills will clear up my sinuses for about 6 hours.

      Overloaded stress
      I use Singular (med) and it is compatible with tinnitus, i.e. doesn't make it worse.

      @Charburchar for allergies?

      I don't see how he could possibly make your tinnitus worse.
