Cause of Tinnitus
Unknown (diagnosed with ETD, TMJD and Straigtened Neck)
I've read that a common cold can potentially cause hearing damage. Catching a cold is very usual and almost inevitable at least in the city where I live which is like an epidemic during autumn. It seems that I had caught one and now I am worried about it. No fever just swollen uluva and pain mild throat pain. Having tinnitus, should I take any extra measure? Does anybody know if people with tinnitus need to do something about it?

I'm getting over a cold right now and I have tinnitus. I would say you should be fine if there's nothing wrong with your Eu--- Tubes. Ears might be a little stuffy but that's temporary. Can't really spell it right now, sorry, hehe. For me, that is the cause. So my T is worse because there's a lot fluid in my nose and throat. Just take some allergy medicine if that is a problem for you.
