      I've just noticed something weird.

If I place a finger just on the tragus and gently push it into the ear canal then press firmly in and out I can modulate faint tinnitus sounds I have going on within my ear, that are very restricted to my ears and don't bounce around my head like my main and intrusive tinnitus does.

      Can anyone else do that?

I don't plan on making a habit of it.

ENTs when testing for Perilymph Fistulae will pop the tragus against the ear canal, as it can induce enough of a pressure change to trigger dizziness in those patients. If it is changing the pressure in your ear... I wouldn't play around.

I have exactly this. Exactly. And it's in my "good" ear that doesn't have hearing loss.

I can do that. It almost sounds like a droning noise. Like a lightsaber sound maybe? Hard to explain.
