Cefadroxil

      Dr. Nagler,

      My doctor prescribed Cefadroxil instead of azithromycin for my sore throat. Is Cefadroxil non toxic for my ears?

      04/1994
      Neither drug is toxic for the ears. My concern about azithromycin is not based on toxicity. I have no similar concerns st all about cefadroxil.
