Changing Brain Patterns and Tinnitus

We already know this. We also know that tinnitus starts in the ear and then it becomes centralized in the brain. It's common knowledge that tone signals must be sent along the vagus nerve to the brainstem so neurons can refigure.

They also know the type of bio engineering device needed, but they still don't know to make tones react to neurons within the brainstem.

Maybe someday they will.

 

Could it be that tinnitus starts in the brain? For example tinnitus caused by head injury, stress?
