@dpdx I used to have that exact same dream, what a wonderful thing it would be to go there and see a classical concert.
I'm a big fan of everything Mozart, but the thing I've listened to the most is probably Itzhak Perlman playing Bach. Perlman is truly a gift to mankind.
did you also grow up with the vienna's new year concert at the 1st of january? my parents/grandparents always/almost always have it on playing in the background on this day if they are at home
i have a priviledge that i live near such events (in germany) and they are really cheap to visit with a student card if any seats remain (which is almpst always the case), i loved ballet like swans lake..or don quixote or e. onegin etcetc..)
i hope our ears get better and i am sure you wiöl be aböe to visit a concert in vienna one day!
oh..and id love to hear 2chellos in pula's arena...there even is one classical concert with hauser and friends this summer i think i read it somewhere...
i never visited clubs or discos or popular kind of concerts but for the classical music i'd love to have healthy ears again...
