I cleaned one ear with water bulb type squeezing action.
This ear had been muffled with severe hearing loss for weeks. And tinnitus was real bad.
For two weeks I have had effects of a cold with minor sore throat and running nose etc.

This morning I cleaned my ear and removed two pieces of stuff (ear wax and a large elephant) about 7-8mm in diameter (abt 1/4 to 3/8"). This one is always trouble. It does not release wax properly and requires cleaning a lot/always because of the shape of the ear canal.

I have seen a GP (ordinary doctor) to remove in the past, but I have cleaned ears with warm tap water many times always being very gentle and letting the water temperature do the job - not the pressure.

Perhaps I suffer from tinnitus because of stuff in the ear canal or near the tympanic membrane?
      Who knows?

Please get to a doctor and get good advice. Do not try it yourself.
