Usually my tinnitus doesn't change until the next day, it stays consistent throughout the day.

But 3 hours ago I had 2 very large crab legs and my tinnitus went down.

Should I try eating more fish like salmon or maybe just get omega 3 pills first?

Hardly scientific evidence, and all kidding aside, I randomly tried omega-3 capsules the last two days, and my tinnitus is about 95% better all of a sudden, and it worked in a few hours. I will add that while I generally take a multivitamin daily, I do not take any other vitamins nor supplements, and think many of them are just modern snake oil and a waste of money.

I am not sure how long to keep taking it for, but was thinking there are 60 caps in there, and to finish it and reassess.

It seriously helped much more than I would have guessed!

So try Omega3, Zinc and B12 supplements. Also, get a blood test to test for vitamin D, B12 and zinc.

I had a blood test when this all started, not sure what they tested for but everything was fine. Yeah I might try a good Omego3 supplement.

They most likely did NOT test for Vitamin D and B12.
Ok Thanks. However I take 1 full packet of Emergen C in the fall and winter and a half packet in the spring and summer each day. I used to get 2 colds a year that would last 3 weeks each, not any more since I have been taking this.

You're better off eating some broccoli then taking that crap. lol.

Emergen C cut my 2 colds a year that would last 3 weeks each. I eat very few vegetables, and eat fruit every other day, I don't eat much as is. Maybe like 1.5 meals a day.

Keep us updated on the omega3, mine are in the mail. How many milligrams are you taking in a day and what brand are you using?

So they worked right away and your tinnitus is still 95% gone? Isn't 500 MG a day below the recommended amount?

The effect has continued, although it vas varied between about 2/3rd's gone to 95% gone, depending on how closely I listen to it. The first dose worked in a few hours.

Not sure what the recommended dose is, I am taking one a day. It is a big thing to swallow, and doubt I can get more than that down.

I plan to keep on taking it for the time being. Let me know if you try it, and what your experience is.

I really hope that this helps you and others. We can certainly use it!

@Mathew Gould

I am taking 1,000 mg of Omega 3s, and I think it's played a part in bringing my T volume down . My T is now mostly mild to medium. There have been a lot more mild days, with the occasional day where I barely even notice it unless I really listen for it. I would love for the medium volume days to go away, but I've noticed they seem to be connected to a poor night of sleep.

My T started at the end of August. In October I started getting adjustments from a chiropractor (she also does trigger point massage on my jaw), started wearing a proper nightguard, I was already taking a multivitamin and I added the Omega 3 in mid-October. I also drink sleepytime tea at night the complete care, which has vitamin C and zinc added to it. I read somewhere those supplements are supposedly helpful. So I can't say for sure it's the Omega 3 alone, but maybe a combination of all these things. Either way it can't hurt to at least try it.

Overall I am at a point where I can handle it at this level, but it would be nice to get continued improvement. I cannot complain with the progress I have made thus far though. Good Luck with the Omega 3s!

Thanks. My bottle suggested 1 a day so I went with that dose. Glad it is working for somebody else, and confirm what I am experiencing.

They should do a trial on this stuff. Seems to be doing more than anything else other than further noise protection in my estimation.
