Combining Modern Day Imagining with HIFU — Possible Cure?

Hi all, I am just curious as to whether or not people have thought about using the new brain imaging, which was able to reveal the mis- firing neurons in people with chronic T, combined with High Intensity Focused Ultrasound laser to ablate these neurons so that they couldn't send these signals down to the auditory cortex? Maybe even just ablating part of the Auditory Cortex? Is this something that's being looked into currently? Maybe someone knows if there are any companies working to find a cure using this technique or something similar? Thanks.
