Constant High-Pitched Reactive Tinnitus at 20 — Will It Improve and Are There Treatments?

I'm 20 and have a high-pitched screeching and whistling sound 24/7. I think it's from noise exposure, but I don't have any hearing loss. It's very reactive and sensitive, and any time a loud noise happens, it gets worse. It can't even be covered by fans or white noise because it competes with them. Will it die down, and are there any effective treatments?

It has been about three weeks now. I used to have ringing every once in a while, but not constantly like this.
