Hello doctor, I have a problem in the ears in addition to the tinnitus. The problem is that I can ear a cracking sound in the ears when I swallow but i don't think is cattarh. My ent say that is cattarh But is now 1 month that i can hear this noise. There is something that can I do to eliminate this cracking sound?

      Hi Jokko -

      Thank you for your question.

While I know a lot about tinnitus (at least I think I do), I am not an ENT and really don't know very much about the ears at all! I do know enough to tell you that any ENT worth his or her salt can recognize and treat catarrh. So if your ENT says that your problem is catarrh, then for goodness' sakes ask your ENT to treat it. And if the crackling sound doesn't go away, then it wasn't catarrh in the first place.

Hope this helps more than frustrates.
