I wanted to know when one has hearing loss.

Most sources seem to back two intervals for good hearing namely, -10 to 25 dB HL and -10 to 15 dB HL

A small minority chooses -10 to 20 dB HL

      1. Which one these should we follow?

      2. I know the dB HL scale is your hearing relative to that of a healthy young individual (13-18 years old), but are these intervals also valid for higher frequencies (9000-20,000 Hertz)?
