Got here after a 3 day drive and over 20 hours of driving with hubby and daughter and 2 dogs in the car.

My tinnitus has been so much louder here. I am so upset about it.

I know stress makes it louder but for this long? Is this spike permanent?

UGH I know no one really knows. It's such an F'd up part of tinnitus. You never know if the bad days are permanent.

Inside the car you should have around 60-70 db if you go hi-speed. It cannot damage your ears such noise specially because it is low-frequencies. You know how many driver have T and continue their job? Another thing is driving truck.......

@Marie79..... It's probably just the result of the sustained stress from the trip and relocating. Try to get your anxiety level down by reassuring yourself that it's just a spike and will soon pass.

I think it may be from stress, most of the time we don't realize how high our stress is and how it can impact our bodies...hopefully it's not permanent.

It could be all the stress and noise. However, I know mine is also affected by elevation changes. Sometimes it needs some time to equalize after a huge change.

      along with travel fatigue etc

i drove interstate in May (14 hr drive) and my t went bonkers. but once id slept, it calmed down again
