Wow ok this happens everytime, a point comes when everything gets better, the tinnitus reduces sound sensitivity decreases and it just becomes better but on the SAME day it has to get worse, basically we had an assembly today and the speakers was in my proximity so they played a very loud video 90-100 decibels but i had my earplugs in. But stupidly i decided to take them off because i thought they finished, 2 mins later they played another video but this time i had cotten and i put my fingers in my ears the whole time, and it was LOUD. Going to class i was pissed. I dont know if my tinnitus spiked or just anxiety

But do you think 3 mins of exposure to a loud speaker with cotton and fingers could do damage??

I also had multi vitamins with magnesium in the morning

      Probably sound, though never proven
Damage unlikely as you were on it quickly. Even so, at the stage you are at it will be hard to differentiate between an anxiety/fear situation and an actual damage situation. In some ways the anxiety IS the damage.
