      Tinnitus Since:
      08/16
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      infection/airplane flight
The other day I decided to try an experiment:
I put an earbud in my bad ear and played sounds
of water falling. My thinking was that my brain
might interpret this as hearing sound better and
      thus lower the tinnitus volume.
Wrong... I'm now having a spike since and feeling
      foolish and low...
I'm now 2 months into this and have had some
success in habituation and adaptation. But its
clear that my pal Tinnitus with his sidekicks
Acousis and Hearing Loss are worthy opponents....

We all experiment one time or another. If the volume was low enough, it might have provided a bit of relief and isn't that what we're all looking for?
