Did I just make this even worse?

My T was actually doing a little bit better over the weekend - either I was getting used to it or the meds I was on were maybe working their magic, but either way, it had become a little less noticeable. Then, last night, I went to a concert; normally I wouldn't have, but I got the tickets in August and it was a band I've been wanting to see for years, so I didn't want to pass it up. Wore earplugs and made sure to steer clear of the speakers, but now the T is screaming even louder than before. I'm taking meds to help me sleep but they haven't worked tonight. Ugh.

I hate that I may have given myself a huge setback. And I hate that the only way to seemingly avoid that would have been to not do a thing I've been looking forward to since the summer. This is why it can be so hard to stay positive sometimes. I'm gonna keep hoping that this will subside, but it's so frustrating.

That's what we get for trying to live a worry free life. Tinnitus is like a baby, it always wants attention from you.

that has happened to me so many times already, and I wish that I could get back to where I was before, so now I am so so so cautious about any noises. you will gradually get better, and wearing the hearing protection definitely helped.
