      Dr Nagler,

I tried to get some answers on this topic in support forum but no luck, so I would like to hear your expert opinion.
Due to stress from t and eating comforting food for few years now, I have put on a lot of weight.
Monday 27/10 I stated this diet consisting of protein mainly (meat, fish, eggs) and on Thursday 30/10 I woke up in absolute hell that hasn't stopped since.
I have introduced some veggies since Thursday so I'm no longer on protein alone.
      Tinnitus still worse than ever.
Do you think this change in diet can make my tinnitus this much worse?
      Thank you!

      No, I do not.

The suddenness of your dietary change may have played a role, but given that the exacerbation began a full three days after initiating your new diet, I doubt it. The content of your new diet (i.e. protein and veggies) played no role at all.
