As long as I can remember there has always been a ringing in my ears. I can only hear it when everything else is silent. But I have gone to the doctor every year and they I have perfect hearing. I dont listen to music too high and loud sounds hurt. So is this tinnitus or something else?

Hi Tikiana, you certainly have T, but as you describe it, you have a very, very mild form of it (like millions), so don't worry about it. My advice is (and it is an advice for everyone), Protect your ears EVERYTIME that you are in a loud event, like night clubs, concerts, etc..
