Ear Canals Inflamed, GP Prescribed Otodex (Framycetin, Gramicidin, Dexamethasone) — Safe to Use?

Hi,

I just want to ask for advice. I just went to GP as my ear canals were itchy and the doctor said that my ear canals are a bit inflamed - not the ear drum. He prescribed me Otodex ear drops that contain Framycetin and Gramicidin, which apparently are ototoxic. I would only need to use it for 2 days.

I got pain hyperacusis and tinnitus under control, I don't want to mess that up.

Should I take it or can the inflammation go away on its own?
