Hello everyone, hope you are doing well.

So it's been a tough year for me. A few months after my tinnitus was gone, I got palatal myoclonus (in April), presumably because of amoxicillin, but it is still unclear and it hasn't stopped. The thing is, when my palate moves of course the ears spasm. But now that I'm taking an anticonvulsant (Mysoline) they don't spasm all the time.

However, I have noticed that when I smile or raise my eyebrow, my problematic (left) ear spasms and clicks independently and differently from the tremor. Does that mean some internal structure has been damaged by the tremor?

I'm going to have an MRI on Monday, but the question of how to stop the myoclonus is still unresolved as I have tried a lot of drugs and only mysoline slows it down, but doesn't stop it entirely.

      Thanks everyone.

@Audiophile_bg, I hope you are better now. Any updates on the ear click? Are they resolved?
