So one day after work I started feeling weird like my world is unstable n unbalance then I notice that my hearing in the left ear felted clogged and would make this humming n ringing noise so I got worried after 3 days that I wasn't normal so I went to my local clinic and met with the ENT specialist after he did his physical and audio exam he dignose me with Bppv n Tinnitus so he prescribe me with Prednisone for my ears to unclogged it.. its been 4 days since I been on it and it feel slightly unclogged but no dramaticlly improvement so my question is will my hearing go back to normal or close to it anytime soon..I can deal with tinnitus part but not abling to fully hear on my ears is what bugged me the most.. I sleep fine I have no side affect from prednisone am just hopeing this is just a temporary setback n not a chronic conditions any advice or someone who can relate will make me less stress about it thanks.

Hey Khmer379 wow I'm very surprised that the doctor didn't rule out an inner ear infection?

are you feeling dizzy too? are you having vertigo? if yes you should also get checked out for menieres disease!
but I would think that you might have suffered from idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss, usually the
chancs a pretty good that your hearing will completely recover soon. prednisone is recommended, maybe you have the chance to get infusions with it? otherwise the pills will be fine, too.

The ENT specialist did diagnose me with inner ear infection sorry about not mentioning that... Am on a 10 day prednisone plan so I have 6 more days to go hopefully I get my hearing back cause I love music and it not the same with my left ear not functioning right... Just keeping my finger crossed that it is not permanent n just temporary
