Hi all, I was wondering if there are more treatment possibilities when the tinnitus is detected early on?

• Extra Vitamin A+C+E+Magnesium (it's about that combination) intake in the first few days, especially if caused by noise trauma (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1950331/).
• Steroid shots in the first hours or days (generally as soon as possible) may also help, especially in the case of sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL). SSNHL is a medical emergency.
• Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT); but this is controversial and has had very mixed results. (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0012987/)

None of the above are guaranteed to help however, but it is somehow supported by scientific literature to be potentially beneficial during the early times. Other than those, I guess we are quite empty-handed. Hence we are all here. Welcome!
