Easter Sew-athon for the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital

Stitch-Witches world wide have joined our Sew-athon to decorate the Royal Marsden and East Surrey Hospitals Children's Wards for Easter.
Sylvia sent the designs free to any crafters who wished to be part of this scheme, to let the children know that people from all over the world are thinking of them and praying for them.
Today we delivered streamers of over 2,000 items.

@Starthrower - while talking to the nurses at the admin desk I saw some beautiful little children, with no hair, but 'the weight of the world on their shoulders'.......yet they cope with their painful little lives......and they smile.
I saw a display of children's artwork in one of the corridors, which took my breath away, just amazing.
This painting by a fifteen year old girl, and sketch by a thirteen year old, broke me up.
I'm afraid I 'lost it' for a while.
My wife who runs these projects, manages to motivate hundreds of lovely lady 'crafters' to contribute their handicraft from all round the world.
The US, Canada, Scandinavia, Europe, Australia, everywhere....
I tell her she is so special, she tells me she is very ordinary.....but she is a saint. (I could be biased.)
