Electrical Impulse Feeling When a Random Noise Occurs

Hi,

I have just been diagnosed with tinnitus but have also just had 2 new things happening to me which my ENT expert says isn't related. When I hear random noises like a tv tiny noise after switching off I get this weird electrical impulse happening through my body. It lasts a second or two and is completely random and doesn't happen often but it does. No-one seems to know what it is.

So annoying! Anyone else had this?

Also I get a whooshing sound when trying to sleep in my head. Again so annoying!

Not sure about the "electrical" impulse passing thru your body, but the "whooshing" noise in your head when trying to sleep is just another manifestation of tinnitus. I have three distinct noises in my head of which two of them come and go. Wish the third one would go, but sadly feel it is here to stay.
