Famous African Americans with Tinnitus?

Hi all,

I know this is kind of different from what is normally on this sub, but who are some prominent/famous African Americans who have tinnitus that you know of?

The only person I can think of right now is Will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas.

I am working on something from Black History Month.

You may have hit upon something interesting. Most of the lists I find online don't have a lot of black people (examples: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_with_tinnitus. It made me wonder if maybe people with European ancestry are more prone to it, but I see a decent number of black people in my Facebook tinnitus groups, so I don't think that's the case.

This study [1] also seems to indicate that tinnitus isn't something that's rare in black people, it may even be more common since tinnitus is weakly correlated with heart issues, and those are more common for people with African ancestry.

This may be something that's not documented very well.
