Few Hours without Hearing Tinnitus

I have had such experiences before, but only for brief moment. It usually did not last more than just a few seconds but it felt heavenly. I still don't know how or why I experienced these brief moments of silence. I have not had that for a long time now. Also, my tinnitus is still only mild, so that may be a contributing factor, and it is noise induced.

I see your tinnitus started only in December. I assume it's December of 2017. So you have only had it for about 2 months now. Depending on the cause and severity, I think there is still a good chance that your tinnitus will subside. Try not to give it a lot of attention, find things to do so you can focus on something else, get a lot of sleep and rest and take good care of your ears.
