I live near Asheville NC where there are a plethora of specialists and medical facilities. Heart clinic rated one of the best in the nation. Robotic surgeries. Yet there are only 2 or 3 ENTs.

One is full for the next 60 days. They do not schedule new appts beyond that 60 days. They were not even the least bit interested in helping me other than to tell my doc to call and beg a doc there to see me.
Another can't see me until the end of July. And my GP had a bad experience with one of the docs there.
Another closed back in March.

So we're going back to the second one and she's telling them I am to see a particular doc (not the one she doesn't like). I'll follow up on Thursday to see if they got the referral.

We figure there's a run on tonsillectomies or something.

Meanwhile, the whine in my head increases after any kind of loudish noise (just listened to a Ted Talk via my headset and now can't hear for the noise). The roar is loud, too. No dizziness in several days. I have hypertension and diabetes (and am blonde). Any time I feel loopy, I take my BP, then my blood sugar, and if both of those are fine, I take the Meclizine.

I even turned the pressure down on my CPAP to lessen the fullness feeling on my ear. All I get is a bunch of snoring, poor sleep, elbows to the ribs, and no change in sensations. I feel like I am in an airplane.

I know. Kveth, moan, what kind of cheese do I want.
