Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
Hi Dom,
The Gent injections destroy your balance and stop the vertigo.
Your eyes work and control your balance and like me will be more wobbly in the dark.
I can not say if your hearing will be effected after.
Mine is destroyed with burn out and don't get vertigo now.
Love glynis
I think you have 3-4 injections over a few weeks so to help adjusting.
I know it works for vertigo but I don't think it helps tinnitus.
You can always ask your hospital pass on your email address to ENT or ring them about after injection followups!

Gent injections do not work for all people, I had injections in both ears and did nothing for my vertigo and did worsen my hearing but only slightly. The doctors have to be very careful of the dosage that they inject, and mine were done in series. Also had steroid injections and no relief at all. But everyone is different, if things do not get better I def recommend trying them. Best of luck!
