      Hi again dr nagler,
Thank you for your previous advice. I have now been prescribed gentamycin ear drops and again I'm worried re ototoxicity.....I have been prescribed many antibiotics and am completely confused. My tinnitus is intrusive but I have managed to habituate to it on some level. .. However I am extremely worried that the gentamycin may make its worse or induce deafness. I am growing staph aureaus again. .. my ear drum is intact I believe. ....if this is so are there any risks to my tinnitus or deafness.
      Thank you dr Nagler

I have no problem with physicians' prescribing gentamicin eardrops for tinnitus patients with intact eardrums.
