      Unknown
      I'm working on:
      - Stop plugging my fingers in my ears or measuring the volume
      - If I get anxious, taking a moment to acknowledge that my tinnitus is present but not a threat
      - If I get depressed, remind myself that some people have it worse
      - Try to keep busy

      Any other ideas?

      - Don't measure the decibel of a noise incident that happened already, there's no point because it already happened. Doing that won't change the fact that your ear already heard the sound, and there's no way you can produce the exact same sound decibel-wise again. (I used to obsess over every little sound incident that happened by recreating it and measuring it with a decibel meter while I had earmuffs on, but that just wasted my time and made me become more anxious)
      - Keep your fingers/q-tips away from your ears. (I have wax buildup/itchy ears so I find myself always scratching/poking/q-tipping, but it always makes my tinnitus/hearing worse)
