I was borderline about a year ago with my TSH level (9-10), but it has been slowly increasing over the years.

The past 6 months I have noticed my tinnitus has gotten more intense, like a spike that does not resolve and then another spike makes it worse. I have read there is some correlation between tinnitus and hypothyroidism.

I am going to get my blood work done probably next week.

I am wondering if those with hypothyroidism have experienced anything similar and whether thyroid medication (Synthroid seems to be what is prescribed here) has resulted in any reduction of tinnitus?

Thanks!
