Hello, I am 27 year old programmer. I have my tinnitus for 11 months now, it started in 2018/01 at home when I randomly woke up early at 5am, was chilling at my computer and had a stiff neck feeling. I tried to stretch a bit and when I stood up from chair I suddenly had vertigo+tinnitus. Vertigo was so bad I had to vomit.
After 2 days the vertigo and vomiting stopped, but tinnitus stayed.
I've been seeing doctors and had an MRI scan, I've been diagnosed with chronic sinus infection and I have a tumor below my right ear (Pleomorphic Adenoma).
I'll have tumor removal surgery in 1 week, but doctor told me that the tumor might not be the cause of tinnitus.
One doctor told me it might be from lack of blood flow in my neck and another one told me that if I cure the sinus infection the tinnitus might also stop.
I only hear tinnitus when I go to sleep, during the day it disappears, but sometimes when I am stressed I hear it for short period of time during the day (~20 seconds) in my right ear.
