Hi, I'm New, and Starting AM-101

Hi, im Brian, im 23, a lover of music, and will be starting AM-101 March 24. I have had my tinnitus for 1 1/2 weeks now in my left ear, following shooting a gun unprotected. I have "slight" hearing loss in high frequencies. Of course I hope the tinnitus will go away or settle down. Immediately when it happened I researched and found AM-101 and this site. I feel some pain in my ear and am wondering if when that subsides maybe my tinnitus will too.

Any tips or hopeful comments are welcome. I have heard good word from people on AM-101. I have to give it a try.

In my case the "pain/fullness" went away after a couple of months .
I think what gives you the best chance of getting fully rid of T when it is so early is to not burn it into your brain by constantly thinking about it. That can be hard I realize.

You are still in the early phase and it might just go away on its own .

sorry to hear about your tinnitus!
Ill advise you to take magnesium, it might help with the pain, its worth a try!
It helped for my pain.
It might go away, I remember before I had chronic tinnitus I would have pain for some days and slight ringing in my ears and then it would go away again, but that usually means that some damage had been done and you should now be really careful man!
I used to go to the range alot with my dad to shoot guns since i was very small and always wore ear protection!
Since my tinnitus ive never went to go shoot again, i fear it will wreck my ears completely even with ear protection!

Thank you guys. Im trying to not think about it and stay busy, ive been eating healthy and drinking tons of water. I was thinking about magnesium. Its suppose to help with sleep?

Take nac and Alpha Lipoic Acid along with the antioxidant vitamins C A E and magnesium citrate.
Especially the NAC. Also melatonin is great stuff.
I second what RaZaH said about not thinking bout it too.

@grandfunk1 Any Updates on the AM-101? Did you end up going through with it? Did it work out for you? I'm considering trying it out myself.
