This month is my 4 year anniversary with T.

I have both the constant ringing and pulsatile.

Been CT'd, MRI'd, drugged, spinal tapped, tested, and prodded, by neurosurgeons, GPs, ENTs, and dentists, and no one knows the cause, but they all agree I just have to live with it.

Eat healthy, low salt, no soda, limited coffee, don't smoke, etc., etc. Don't run anymore because the racket afterwards was mind numbing.

Some days are better than others, but there hasn't been a good day in 4 years.

What caused your T? If you got lumbar puncture then you had high icp. Was it a head injury?

Bad bike accident in July...landed on my the side of my head/neck and left shoulder. Broken clavicle and cracked ribs. No observed head trauma...helmet did it's job.

Came down with the flu after running a marathon in October.

ER in December...CT showed a BAD sinus infection. Drugs knocked it out.

Low grade headaches unrelated to sinus condition started in January.

T started third week of January.

LP in February negative. Headaches ceased shortly thereafter.

      Sinus surgery in June.

No definitive answers. I've been told it could have been caused by head trauma, flu, sinus infection, or some other unknown factor.
