How Can We Be Sure That Every Spike Is Not a New Hearing Loss?

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      ototoxicity
      Hello!

      How can we be sure that every spike is not a new hearing loss?

      I check the hearing to 8 kHz on the smartphone, but how can we test frequencies above 8 kHz?!

      If suddenly the hairs are damaged at a frequency of 12 or 14 kHz, would we feel it without special verification?

      After all, there are almost no natural sounds in the environment in those higher frequencies.
