I have an appointment with an ENT coming up. Will they be able to definitely tell me if my Eustachian Tubes are blocked and is there a name for the test?

I've had tinnitus for a few years but three months ago it got much louder. When it got worse, I had a constant mild headache and felt pressure in my head. The headache recently disappeared but the tinnitus remains in both ears.

I have 30-40 dB of hearing loss at mid-high frequencies in both ears.

Ears can still feel full or under pressure at times. Hard to describe.

I can also make the tinnitus go away while performing the
      Valsalva manouver.

They can do a tympanometry test which will measure your eardrum pressure. Blocked ETs "usually" will have some sort of non-normal looking test result here.

Thanks Aaron. I had a hearing test a couple of weeks ago and that must be what she stuck in my ear. All she told me was 30-40 dB hearing loss at mid-high frequencies in both ears. Results sent to ENT specialist.
