I had a worsening of my preexisting tinnitus about 10 months ago. I have days where tinnitus is pretty mild and I have days where it cuts through most environmental noises.
I noticed that on the mild days I have TTTS symptoms about two to three times a day, it feels like a twitch/move in the ear. Whereas on days with louder tinnitus I have no TTTS symptoms.
Why is there a correlation? Can anyone explain this?
My tinnitus was noise induced many years ago but the worsening is mostly from the neck muscles.
I read that TTTS mostly disappear after a while. How long do these normally last? Why is there either TTTS or tinnitus?
