Howdy! Tinnitus Sucks ;)

Hi everyone,
I've had tinnitus for a couple of years mainly in my right ear. Yep, it sucks. Just wanted to say hi and vocalize some support for those who've got it really bad.

In case anyone reads this, has there been any attempt at data collection on this TinnitusTalk.com website? I mean, in the good sense Some systematic questionnaire etc? I've heard it's tough to treat tinnitus because it's a symptom of so many (potentially) complicated contributors, so data is really important for it.

Tinnitus doesn't suck. It's the greatest thing that ever happened to any of us. Get your facts straight.

 

I agree, Tinnitus sucks, I've only had it for 3 weeks but I'm over it. I hope the day will come when I'll see Tinnitus as not such a bad thing in my life but right now it just sucks, best of luck with your struggle

 

@Markku thanks a lot for the info! great to see so much going on here. I have web programming/db skills, maybe I could even bring someone in from data analytics at work . Please let me know if I can contribute in these areas.

Hi @Sam Bridge , well it's some speculation, but that's the most logical explanation I got from ENTs and a neurologist because it started very suddenly in one ear, and I wasn't exposed to loud sounds at the time.
