I am really getting scared that this condition I have is permanent. I got hit on the head right on the ear with a ball. And it's been over a month and I still feel like I can't hear the same, on top of that I have tinnitus. I went to the doctors and they checked hearing and it was fine but MY EARS DONT HEAR THE SAME!!!! One ear sounds more muffled and less quality. Please tell me there is still a chance it's not permanent cause I am really losing hope guys.... :(

no one can really tell you, unfortunately. For what it's worth, my brother's hearing was muffled for a full year after a metal concert, and he managed to recover more or less completely.

I think my situation is different because I think I got it from trauma to the brain
