If Your Tinnitus Is Different After Sleep, Do You Think Having a Sleep Study Would Help?

My theory is that if you can figure out what is going on in your brain during sleep, maybe you can figure out why your tinnitus is different when you wake up. Has anyone ever had a sleep study? I'm not sure what all they can check during sleep so it might be a waste but if anyone knows, please tell.

Sleep studies are used for diagnosing sleep apnea, they are not complex brain imaging during sleep
