Inhibitor Masking Device & SCN9 Gene Expression (version 1.0) - To evaluate the effectiveness of the Inhibitor™ Tinnitus Masking Device.

To evaluate the effectiveness of the Inhibitor™ Tinnitus Masking Device. To determine if there is a higher incident of expression of the SCN9 gene in those subjects with disturbing tinnitus than subjects that are not disturbed by tinnitus.

I confess that I did not grasp the interest of this study: just one person in the control group, and the link between the two goals (the masking device and the SCN9 gene).
